揭示了机器人已经不仅仅再是没有情感的程序，这一家人和先知一样已经理解了什么是爱，就是愿意为对方付出一切。
所以即便这位父亲知道当矩阵完成升级后自己也将会成为非法程序被删除，他却没有和其他非法程序一样选择逃避，而是和妻子尽可能地保住自己的女儿。
所以被注入了爱的尼奥在最终的代码之源做出了和其他救世主不同的选择，就是因为给尼奥注入的程序里有“爱”。
